photobooth + eye line messaging
The brief
Bring the “We Have The Formula” brand strategy to a packed international education fair, and give people a reason to stop at our booth instead of the dozens around it.
Space was the biggest constraint. The booth was compact, so every panel had to earn its spot. I was also in charge of planning props for the photobooth, so I proposed inflatable trophies, medals, champagne bottles and international flags, and every one of them made it to the booth in Berlin.
What I did
I kept the booth minimal but impactful, and built it around a photobooth where visitors could stop for a picture. It gave people an easy reason to walk over, and every photo taken there carried the brand with it.
Then I designed to eye level. The average person stands about 69 inches tall, so the key messages and visuals sit right at that height, while the lower panels stay clean and uncluttered. That way the message lands in the few seconds it takes someone to walk past the booth.
How it went
The sales team loved the design, and the photobooth was a hit. So many people wanted photos that the booth stayed busy, which gave the team plenty of chances to start conversations.
a booth is more than its graphics. I had to think about how our sales reps would actually use the space, from greeting visitors to taking photos with clients. Designing for those real moments is what got people to stop, and the conversations followed.
