Behind the lens
Travelling with a camera keeps my eye sharp. Framing a shot trains the same instincts I use every day as a designer: where the eye lands first, how colours play together, and what to leave out of the frame. Then editing in Lightroom and Photoshop lets me fine tune the mood until it feels just like I remember it.
What I learned: good design and good photos start the same way, by noticing the little details most people walk right past.
